I've been reflecting on the past year about my habits, my goals, the results, and how I feel about all of it. I also am thinking about what I want in 2025. What do I want to keep consistent with? What do I want to change? And I'm one of those people who works with a word or a theme for each year. Plus, I come up with a cheeky motto that helps me not take myself too seriously/boosts my humor. As I was considering 2024 and the move to 2025, a few areas of growth needs came to mind. Then I had a thought, a question...that I want to share here. What if what I make believe is true is true? By this I mean, if I focus on my own feelings and perception as an outcome, I have more control of manifesting the outcome. For example, one of my goals for 2024 is "be strong in my body." In one sense, I have real setbacks this year: A knee injury from years ago keeps flaring up. I have plantar fasciitis, which has me moving a bit more carefully, slowly, and in pain.
